Overall I love the look of this bunk. It looks exactly as pictured. Colors are great. Love the rustic grey. I added greenery (kids already pulling it off tho lol) and Christmas lights and it looks great.Assembly however was awful. There was broken/split parts but I ended up just running to Home Depot a couple times because there was no way I could get this packed and taken to the post office.I truly love building things. I DIY shelves and book cases and build ikea furniture and everything no problem. But this thing took me forever. Days. I did not like building it. I had to unbuild and re install parts multiple times because it had stickers on one side and the bolts lined up, but when it was bolted on the pattern didn’t match up and I had to remove multiple pieces to take off a single piece to fix the pattern. I wish the pattern was the same on both sides. One side, the outside, is rustic grey and textured, and the inside is flat grey and smooth. I ended up giving up on one piece and leaving it backwards because I couldn’t get all the pieces off to flip it over, it just wouldn’t come back apart in one section. The space where the mattress is is only held by slats which are nailed on 2 sides into a half inch piece of wood with no center beams, so I’m scared to climb up there and have it break or have my boys jump on it. (See pics). Luckily they haven’t jumped on it yet though. Idk how typical bunk beds are made so maybe it’s normal to just have the mattress sitting on floating slats and nothing else no base or anything. And I wish there were slats or some kind of base on the bottom so the mattress on the bottom wasn’t straight on the floor, but I saw that when buying it so it’s not like I didn’t know prior, just a wish of more there. I may purchase a board to place under the upper slats for my own mental security of the upper mattress falling down but maybe I’m just paranoid lol. I also didn’t realize that the upper roof is only a half roof which is kinda weird, should’ve noticed that in the pics but oh well. But from looking at it straight on you can’t tell half the roof is missing.Overall, I don’t regret the purchase. Just some flaws and if you’re handy you can spend a day Home Depot fixing it. For the price it’s not terrible.I also bought a memory foam bunk bed twin mattress for the upper bunk, and was initially worried about weight but it’s doing well, not too heavy and not causing any issues. If you buy a mattress online that comes vacuum sealed I recommend opening it up and letting it expand inside the upper frame so you don’t have to squeeze it into place. This made that process easier as it expanded perfectly into the bunk frame space. For the bottom bunk I haven’t purchased a twin mattress yet as my youngest is 1.5 so I just laid the crib/toddler bed mattress down there for now and it works well until he needs a bigger mattress to fill the frame space. My oldest son is 4.5 and loves his bunk bed and is sleeping well on the top bunk. The height of the edges of the top frame made me worried at first about buying a bunk bed and having him rolling over off the bed but the rails are tall enough and there’s zero chance of him being able to roll off like the pictures made it seem. So if you’re looking for a bunk with taller rails this is definitely a great choice. When standing on the top mattress, the rails go almost up to my oldest son’s knees.I took a star off because of having to replace damaged parts at my own expense.Read more

Twin

A Twin bed also referred to as a single bed is one of the smallest bed in the market with a dimension of 38’’ by 75’’. Its compact size makes it ideal for single sleepers may it be children or an adult living in a small space such as a studio apartment. It’s an affordable and versatile bed set up for various sleepers such as toddlers and college student in the dorm. For over several decades it has been one of the most popular beds among college students and young children in their early teens as you can find it in most of their bedrooms, however in this modern age where people are seeking for more comfort and space, the popularity of twin beds is been over taken by queen size beds. Despite being great for growing children it’s also very flexible and versatile especially if you are trying to maximize the space in your bedroom.

Gray as a color can be somehow depressing and uninspiring especially in a darker bedroom, and as you already know sleeping in a gray bedroom is not as satisfying as sleeping in a brighter bedroom. All you need to know before choosing a gray bed or any other no so bright colored bed is which bedroom décor is the best for that specific bed color. With a gray bed it can be really advantageous especially if you have an all-white bedroom since it will tone down the general look for your bedroom, creating some form of contrast. In case you have a bright bedroom and you wish to tone down I would definitely recommend for you a gray bed to help tone down your bedroom décor.
