After endless searching on Amazon, I bought this. It does come in a copper color however I wanted a black frame so I spray painted it. It is very sturdy! No wobble or noise.

I purchased this bed for our guest bedroom and absolutely love it! Really sturdy and heavier than I expected but was very easy for one person to assemble. The only negative is the foam mattress slides a little. Totally worth the price and I would recommend.

We've only had this bed for a week now but right now I'm happy with my purchase. If anything changes I'll come back and change my review. Okay so I put this bed together by myself and I make 34 year old decently healthy female. It was a little heavy but that's to be expected it is a metal bed. The instructions were clear enough for me to put it together by myself, it took about 45 minutes to put the bed together. My son is very happy with it it's his, a replacement for an old twin size wood bed. I'm very happy he finally has slats that won't easily snap in half. Has a good amount of space underneath it in fact my son likes to hide underneath it and watch YouTube videos. It looks really nice I definitely would recommend buying it.

I was thrilled when this bed arrived and I saw what it looked like. I am almost eighty so I grew up sleeping in a bed very similar to this one. According to my son in law it was very easy to assemble. Since I plan to use it in a guest room it hasn’t been slept in yet but it seems to be very sturdy. I am very satisfied with my pretty bed and best of all the price was so reasonable.

So, I needed a bed frame. Bed was on the floor for the longest time. I figured I'd look on Amazon because, welp, I buy everything else there! So I find this bed frame that is simple, the price is great, and it specifically states, "Sturdy" - which is important only because I didn't want noise getting in and out of bed. So I get the box and I open it up AND... one of the poles is slightly bent. #ShippingLife With a little hammer I was able to get it in place. After that, putting it together wasn't bad at all. Best part is... I was actually surprised at how sturdy it really was. When put together it doesn't have the old school wiggleness that I was a little hesitant about. It has been a great bed so far and definitely worth the price!

This bed frame was the perfect addition to our guest room. My favorite things worth mentioning.... 1) EASY assembly and step by step instructions with labelled components; 2) color matches the online photos well; 3) sturdy and well thought out. I would recommend this product.

I went to Ashley Furniture to look for a bed just like this and the queen frame was $799 NOT including the mattress or boxspring.I found this one on Amazon and I love it!My husband is like 6' and 275lbs and I'm 5'5" and about 250lbs and this bed is STURDY. No creaks, no squeaks, and doesn't hit the wall.Supports underneath are fantastic and feel just as sturdy and high quality as when we bought it almost a year ago.

First, let me say that this is a nice looking bed. The frame is smooth and an attractive bronze sort of color. It was fairly easy to assemble - if there are two people. All the parts were there, and although the box was damaged, the contents were fine. You will want to use your own wrench on the nuts, though. The thin one they supply is pretty useless. And make sure you apply the rubber tape to the long front-to-back center support BEFORE you pop on the horizontal slats!OK, here is the part you might want to pay attention to: The Queen size bed is EXACTLY 60 x 80 inches - the size of a Queen mattress. What that means is that there is NO space between the mattress and the footboard for tucking in your sheets, blankets, and comforter or bedspread. Furthermore, the horizontal metal mattress support slats stop about 5" from the headboard and the foot board. If you have really long sheets and blankets, that may not be a problem. But if they are not that long, you have nothing to hold them in place - the last 5" of the mattress have nothing below them to hold the sheets/blankets in place.I solved this problem by cutting a 1x4 board to 60" and laying it across the back of the bed frame, about 1/2 inch from the foot board. I screwed it to the "mattress holders" so as not to do any damage to the frame itself (these are not structural pieces of the bed). This worked well. While the board is slightly taller than the metal supports, it is close enough. Now the blankets tuck in fine, held in place by the board, and the bed skirt goes pretty much all the way to the end of the mattress. However, this does not solve the issue of the mattress butting up against the foot board. You just have to force the covers and comforter in between the mattress and foot board. If you look at the vendor photos, you will notice that the mattress they show on the bed is quite thin - maybe 6" or so. I used a 10" memory foam mattress, which goes all the way to the top of the foot board, and a taller one would make bedding even more difficult to tuck in.So, here are my final thoughts. This is an attractive and well-made good quality bed, but is about an inch or so too short, and the final mattress support slats end too far from the headboard and foot board. None of that makes a huge difference, but you probably won't want to change the bedding on a regular basis, as it is difficult to get it all tucked in. Thus, I would recommend this bed for a quest bedroom, but it might be too much of a hassle for daily use and regular bedding changes. You'll need to decide that for yourself. One last thing - the issues with this bed may be common among other beds of this type and price range, so going with a different bed may or may not make a difference.Read more

Questions & Answers

Is this frame squeaky?
Yes, it's extremely squeaky. Every time I roll over it squeaks. The bolts are tight, it's because of the headboard and the what the metal touches. If you can put felt strips in all the locations where the metal touch it might fix the problem.

How much of the headboard shows with a 12 inch mattress? Pictures would be welcome.
I don't have a photo ready, but my 10" gel foam mattress leaves 18" from the top of the mattress to the top of the headboard rail. So, if you have a 12" mattress, there should be about 16" of headboard above it. This does not count covers or duvets or comforters that will add an inch or so - maybe more. With my mattres… see more

Black

When trying to open up a smaller bedroom most people often think about bright colors with light hues, but also there is a stronger advantage for going darker and there is no better way to do that than with a black bed. Black is known to amplify small spaces and also set the right mood in your bedroom space. A black colored bed makes your bedroom fell more intimate and special in ways that you could have never imagined before, something that you would never achieve with any of those bright colors. There is nothing as important as setting the right mood in your bedroom especially if you are a couple since it’s the base of your relationship romantically. A black bed adds a touch of intrigue but still blends right into the bedroom décor colors creating a timeless look.

Brown

Even though brown is not the most obvious color to use when decorating your bedroom. A Brown bed’s warmth nook makes it worth incorporating in to your bedroom. And the fact that you would never expect to see a brown bed or bedroom décor makes it perfect for anyone who loves experimenting on colors and doesn’t like using playful pastels and bright neon’s. To avoid it from being swallowed into the dark bedroom interior, it’s recommended to be used in a bedroom with bright interior colors that bring about more lighting, which is a rich tone up especially to the brown bed and in the process creating another element intrigue. A brown bed is the only way to tone down a bright bedroom interior without having to repaint the walls.

Gray

Gray as a color can be somehow depressing and uninspiring especially in a darker bedroom, and as you already know sleeping in a gray bedroom is not as satisfying as sleeping in a brighter bedroom. Gray might not be as inviting as other colors but that doesn’t mean that a Gray bed is not a good choice for your bedroom. All you need to know before choosing a gray bed or any other no so bright colored bed is which bedroom décor is the best for that specific bed color. With a gray bed it can be really advantageous especially if you have an all-white bedroom since it will tone down the general look for your bedroom, creating some form of contrast. In case you have a bright bedroom and you wish to tone down I would definitely recommend for you a gray bed to help tone down your bedroom décor.

Silver

Sliver is a monochromatic color that creates a clean and elegant bedroom space. A silver colored bed goes perfectly well with a wooden flooring or any other dark wooden furniture in your bedroom. It’s also mainly used in bedrooms with bright blue accent walls to create a perfect environment for to relax after a long day’s work. To many people, silver is still considered a luxurious color and as a result a silver bed is definitely a representation luxury. Silver also has sleep inducing characteristics that will help you get more sleep, on average you are likely to get 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep. A silver colored bedroom on the other hand doesn’t look boring or washed up, but instead it creates an amazing bedroom with a lot of depth without even considering the contrasting colors.

White

A white bed is definitely a show stopper, it’s plain and simple. Despite people referring to white as lack of other colors, a white bed makes quite a statement. It gives your bedroom space a more open and timeless feel, while allowing your bedroom décor to standout even more clearly. A bed with a pure shade of white energizes your entire space giving it a vibrant new look, giving you the illusion of a more light within your bedroom. What makes a white bed a favorite for many is the fact that white as a color creates a relaxing sleep environment. And as you know choosing the right color is very important, since color is like magic and can influence your state of mind and emotions. If there is one thing you should do right is get yourself a white bed and enjoy every single moment you spend in your bedroom.

Storage Included

When your bedroom space is small storage can be the biggest challenge you will encounter. Your closet could be a solution but not big enough to pack so many clothes. Well, you may want to buy a bigger cabinet, but you don’t want to pack so many dressers and cabinets into your space that it feels clunky and crowded. Storage beds are a fantastic way to get more space without adding extra furniture, and a lot of them are so stylishly designed you almost don’t notice the drawers are there. This bed design offers a great way to make the most of the space in your room, giving you a place to stash clothes, bedding, and more inside or beneath your bed frame. The best storage beds feature spacious compartments that are easy to access, and with tons of styles to choose from. The most common options are shelves built into the headboard or drawers built into the frame below the mattress. Depending on the reason you want space, a storage bed provides easy access, but if you're storing items that you don't need to get to very often, you can opt for a spacious platform beneath the bed that can be accessed when you lift the mattress. Ultimately, your choice will come down to what's most convenient for you.

Metal

One of the most asked question when it comes metallic beds is, are they safe for younger children? And the answer is always, yes they are. One of reason to why metal beds have grown in popularity over the last couple of years is the fact that they require less maintenance since as we all know metal does not dent or scratch easily making it even a more attractive option as compared to wooden and plastic beds. When it comes to durability also metal beds are currently the most durable beds in the market more durable than the wooden beds and would even handle more weight than a wooden bed frame. Metal beds are also highly portable since they are lighter than other types of bed, and in case you are the kind of person who love rearranging their bedroom setup you will definitely love the metal bed.

Single Material

When you need to kick back and unwind on your own, you need a single-material bed. Single-material beds are an excellent choice for anyone that likes simplicity and practicality. Without combining materials, you get a clean and uniform looking bed that will match any bedroom. The con of a single-material bed is that they won’t stand out as much as other beds, but this can also be a pro as well, as it means they’ll easily blend into any room and not take attention away from other features that are nearby. The single-material is recommended if you’re after a bed for a minimalist setting, something that looks very simple and neutral - then you’re going to be satisfied by the single-material bed. Single-material beds also look great when you have two separate beds in the same room - the single-material look really gives the room a strong, matching and consistent appearance.

Vintage

Are you one of those people who love a charmingly old-fashioned, individualistic, and quirky design? If that’s you then you should consider the vintage bedroom style, which is one of the most sort out style over the last two decades for its romantic, casual, and versatile looks. With the vintage bedroom style you have room to showcase your creativity since this style cannot be confined to a single definition. Having a vintage styled bedroom means having a bedroom that is furnished and decorated with furniture, fabrics, and other accessories that were popular several decades back. The vintage bedroom style is mainly associated with items that are nostalgia which are not yet antiques. When decorating your bedroom with the vintage style it’s always good to play around with your imagination and creativity by introducing something unexpected into your bedroom décor.
