Gray as a color can be somehow depressing and uninspiring especially in a darker bedroom, and as you already know sleeping in a gray bedroom is not as satisfying as sleeping in a brighter bedroom. Gray might not be as inviting as other colors but that doesn’t mean that a Gray bed is not a good choice for your bedroom. Single Material

When you need to kick back and unwind on your own, you need a single-material bed. Single-material beds are an excellent choice for anyone that likes simplicity and practicality. Without combining materials, you get a clean and uniform looking bed that will match any bedroom. The con of a single-material bed is that they won’t stand out as much as other beds, but this can also be a pro as well, as it means they’ll easily blend into any room and not take attention away from other features that are nearby. The single-material is recommended if you’re after a bed for a minimalist setting, something that looks very simple and neutral - then you’re going to be satisfied by the single-material bed. A bed can be referred as a piece of furniture which is used as a place to fall asleep and relax. In this modern age beds consist of a soft cushioned mattress and a bed frame, the mattress is usually resting on a sprung base, solid base, or a wood slats. Beds come in different sizes ranging from infant-sized cribs to small beds that can just accommodate one person, to large king and queen sized beds designed for two or more people. Most bed are usually a single mattress and a fixed frame, however there are other varieties such as a sofa bed, which folds out of a sofa or a murphy bed that folds in to a wall. Leather

Leather is a traditional upholstery material for a reason. It looks great, feels fantastic and is long-lasting. It also has some symbolism attached to it - leather upholstery says things without verbalising them. It says "class". It says "luxury". It says "style". If you've got a need or a want for an upholstery material that's ticks the classic and traditional boxes, as well as the box that says "magnificence" at the same time - then it's the leather upholstery material that you're going to wish your bed was made from. Leather is a strong and durable material, that is scratch-resistant and won’t wrinkle or crease up - it’s an excellent choice for anyone that needs their bed to be not just a status symbol, but also a good long-term, practical decision. Treat yourself to something special, and choose leather.

Plastic

With an average of 5% usage increase per year, plastic or polyvinyl chloride (PVC) fabric is probably one of the most commonly used textile for bed upholstery in the world, proving its versatility. Also called as "vinyl," PVC is made from 57% chlorine (from salt) and 43% ethylene (from crude oil or sugar crops). You don't have to worry if a certain style is available; a plastic-upholstered bed has a wide variety of design and color choices, which means it looks good on any color scheme and theme. In addition, an everyday use is not a problem for this type of bed upholstery since plastic is designed to be stain-resistant and antimicrobial. It also has a promising strength, durability, and flexibility that can stand distortion and abrasion. Furthermore, many bed makers prefer PVC fabric because of its long lifespan and resistance to water and chemical, making it effortless to clean when your favorite drink spills over.

Polyurethane

Are you a leather fan yet can't seem to afford one? Polyurethane (PU) leather got you! Comes in several names such as bicast leather, split leather, bonded leather, reconstituted leather, and corrected grain leather, PU fabric is a material made of layer/s of polymer resins. A PU coating is added, which gives its leather look. Compared to real leather, PU is easier to clean and washable. It is also animal-friendly, so you don't have to keep your dear pets away from the room. Despite being cheaper, this artificial leather is very durable and doesn't crack with use or fade under sunlight, though it can more easily be torn than the real one. It doesn't dry out over time, as well. Actually, it's a better textile compared to other faux leather alternatives and is more eco-friendly than real leather when talking about sustainability because its production uses less resources.

Comes in varieties of color, PU goes well with a modern industrial style.

Beech

The beech wood species has a rare combination of strength and flexibility. Beech is mainly common in North America, where it grows between 80 to 100 meters in height. Flexibility being one of its major characteristic makes it the ideal choice for creating a curved furniture or customary designed furniture. A good example is a beech bed which is usually very malleable. Durability being one of its other major characteristic makes furniture that are made out of beech wood such as a beech wood very durable and long lasting, with the capability to withstand hard conditions. Beech wood is known to be evenly textured, which makes a beech bed significantly resistant to pressure since it’s hard, heavy, and strong. A beech bed is also easy maintenance as compared to other quality wood bed types, since it has long lasting properties.

Hardwoods

Hardwood wood varieties refer to the type of tree the wood is taken from; it has nothing to do with how heavy or dense the wood is (contrary to popular belief!). Hardwood woods are sourced from trees that have leaves and lose their leaves in the winter months. Types of hardwood trees include hickory, maple, oak, birch and cherry (among others). Wood from hardwood trees is usually harder and therefore more dense, as these trees tend to grow at a slower rate. Hardwood is ideal for use in indoor furniture crafting, as it is sturdy and durable. Most hardwood varieties are bright and beautiful in their natural tone/shade, but many take well to staining, finishes and paints. The hardwood varieties offer a cozy, warm look and enrich your bedroom style. Hardwood bed frames are a great way to brighten your bedroom and enhance the overall look and feel of your sleep space!
