This product arrived a few days early (yeah!). I was able to put it together in less than 2 hours. The directions were overall fine but could have been better. Pay particular attention to where holes should be. As other reviewers have noted, most of the stickers on the glass shelves were very easy to remove. The large sticker on the top shelf was harder but not as bad as I had been led to believe. One annoyance and confusion are the "rings," the plastic rings to edge the holes of the back center piece for arranging chords. The rings came out several times while constructing the stand. I don't quite understand the purpose of the plastic and am concerned they will keep coming off. This stand is wide enough for my 43" TV, but I will be wall mounting it in the next few weeks. I think the stand would be a little low to the ground if I left the TV sitting on it permanently.

Ya know, I really like this stand. It's almost like an optical illusion at certain angles as it seems like it should topple over backwards. I should say that I saw a similar model from Sauder at a local retailer around Christmas time that was on sale for a similar price. It was a little different with wood legs that met at the very front corners of the top shelf. The glass shelves also recessed into the legs so the corners were not visible in front, and the legs were rounded on the edges and appeared like wood. I think it perhaps had a slightly more elegant look, but not quite as 'gravity defying'. I also like the way the side legs are curved on this one. They were not on the other. This stand has a little more utilitarian motif going on, but it is really nice. Very well made and sturdyIf you are like me, then you sometimes debate internally over different models and designs when making a purchase like this. That is why I mentioned seeing the other one at the store. I looked at it about ten times. I came to the conclusion that I made the right choice with this stand and still feel that way. Even though the other one had its merits too. Also, I am familiar with Sauder products and sold them when working in a retail audio video store many years ago. They have always provided 'bang for the buck'. Especially this one since it's all glass and metal.Putting it together is not bad once you get the first piece laid down in the proper position, That's probably the hardest part.In conclusion, this is a very well made stand, sturdy, and it has a great look. Plenty of room for numerous components. You could probably fit eight to ten components on it all in all ( cable box, Blu-ray/DVD player, game console etc.), if you do some stacking (no more than two high). We just have a 40" led on it now, but it could hold a much larger TV. I'd buy it again.Read more

These are great. And, they're made in Taiwan. So, the people that made these are probably willing laborers unlike what you get out of the PRC. Go figure. I really liked this. It was easy to put together, but...There's a warning stick on the top glass, which is fine. But, unlike the other stickers, it doesn't peel off. No joke, it took me 30 minutes to scrape the thing off with a scraper. It was, like really, really glued on there. I'm lucky that the glass wasn't scratched in the process. I get it dudes. There's a 70 lbs. limit on the top. Seriously, folks. I can read. And, if you do want to put a warning label...on glass!...for the love of pete do make it an easy peel like the other labels.Anyways, it's working great. I'm using it for a secondary and hard drive peripheral rack. The black glass is very sleek and looks nice in my computer room. And, folks, there's 10 lbs on the top shelf. So, the torturing me with that sticker really wasn't necessary. But, overall good product. Easy to assemble, sturdy, probably made by people that wanted to be there. Pretty happy overall!Read more

TL;DR: Great product, assembly sucks b/c things aren't labeled. Pay extra attention to every single little hole and nub on the pictures to be sure you're using the right rod in the right place. So the actual product is great. Looks very modern, is very sturdy, haven't had any problems to date (~1 month later). However, the assembly instructions suck. They mention parts by letter, but none of the parts in the box actually have letters on them, so you're left to try to figure that out on your own by comparing pieces to their pictures. That doesn't work very well when the only difference between some pieces is a single hole that appears as a (not even kidding) < 1 mm dot on the assembly picture. Some tips to make assembly easier:1.) Before you start assembling things, go through and try to figure out which letter belongs to which piece, and label everything yourself. Pay extra attention to the number of holes in rods, the placement of those holes along the rod length, etc. Trust me, it will save you the headache of screwing the wrong rod in place at least once.2.) The "Rear Panel" (sheet of metal with two holes shaped like eyes in it) has an up and a down that isn't mentioned in the instructions. Make sure the panel's metal tab that sticks out perpendicular to the panel is at the top, and that the end with 3 screw holes is on the bottom.3.) Pay attention to the position of the screw holes on the bars when attaching the bars to the support legs. The bars tend to turn when you tighten the screws, and then the holes aren't facing upwards like they're supposed to be.4.) The glass shelves appear to have a top and bottom that (again) isn't mentioned in the instructions. There is a subtle difference in the finish of the glass on each side. One side appears more opaque while the other is more like a mirror. AFAICT the opaque side goes down.Anyway, once you get past the assembly you shouldn't have to worry about the product again, it's quite nice :) But for the love of god, if you move and disassemble it, label the pieces again to make reassembling it easier.Read more

Black

A black finish on your tv stand is one of the best options for a tv stand. Black establishes an eye-catching relationship between the rest of the living room decor and your tv stand. It also makes the furniture complement each other. The black finish will most likely blend in with the rest of your decor and walls unless you choose a different option. The tv stand itself won’t stand out, but you can use elements around it that do. For example, white flower vases are a great bet. The exact role can be taken on by the area rug or the lighting in the room. Each black tv finish stand has its own set of properties, which allow it to stand out in various ways and to interact with the surrounding space in its path. However, the black finish will easily show dust hence making you clean more. This finish does not take scratches and dents well, therefore expensive to maintain.

Glass

If you love superior materials on your tv stand, consider glass materials. Glass tv stands are popular and widely used to hold Tv and other related materials. It is a versatile choice for all manner of situations. Glass, when used on the tv stand, is elegant and very attractive. Some glass colors on tv stands are perfect, offering a masterpiece of art for your living room. When it comes to maintenance, the glass may pose a few challenges like cleaning, and in case you have toddlers around, be aware of glass being fragile. Glass has a material on tv stand that will last longer depending on the usage and the position the tv stand. Some tv stands are made using glass as durable because glass doesn't decay, while others crack. Glass blends well with lighting from your living room; this makes it reflect or absorb the light from your bulb, which produces an elegant view.

Metal

Wondering which best tv material for your tv stands? Worry no more. For a tv stand that is contemporary and modern, metal is the way to go. Metal produces rudimentary designs that are attractive and elegant. The tv stand made from this material is sturdy and will serve you for decades. Metal is easy to maintain. Metal can easily be curved into different shapes that make it easy to work with. Depending on your choice, metal, when furnished with paint, your tv stand will be attractive. This material, when used on tv stand it is shinny, and the edges can be seen. Metal being ductile makes tv stands look fantastic. Metals stands can also be blended with wood to make final tv products. Even though metal can rust, special alloys are applied to reduce or evade rust. Metal materials are readily available and easy to work with.

Steel

A tv stand made of steel is sleek, modern, and extremely durable. Steel is an incredibly strong and long-lasting material that is often used in furniture making and appliances because of the unmatched strength and resilience of the material. A steel tv stand is a perfect choice to enhance a modern-contemporary or industrial home décor motif; oftentimes, steel tv stands have unique, distinctive lines that lend well to a modern aesthetic. A steel tv stand may not be the best choice for homes with small children, as sharp corners or edges may pose a danger; in addition, a steel tv stand may show fingerprints or dirt easily; however, you should be able to clean it easily using a microfiber cloth. A steel tv stand is the perfect way to enhance the modern, sleek, and sophisticated look and feel of your home living space.
