Perfect with the Frame TV. Holes the box required for the tv perfectly.

Used it for Samsung Frame and it worked really well. Great value for the price.

The box is fine, all parts came with it (the template is an inch off like someone else mentioned). However I bought this to hide my Frame TV One Connect box and it does not fit. I’m not sure if others in the reviews have smaller One Connect boxes, or my Sanus box is abnormally small. My One Connect is 15.25” and the box will hold up to 14”, FYI for those considering.

Wouldn't fit a 15" long electronics box, so beware the dimensions.

Template for drywall cutout is too small for box by at least 1/2”. Also wider than expected for between 16” OC studs is very tight.

Like many people say, Sanus makes great TV mounts and one would think buying this in-wall enclosure / box would be a no brainer and you can expect the quality of their mounts. WRONG!!! There's several issues with this product:1) The Cutout Template: Like other's have mentioned, the Cutout Template provided is completely wrong. The box has ridges that expand outside of the defined dimensions of the template. You easily have to cut about 0.5" extra on each side. Additionally, the tabs that rotate 90" and secure the box to the drywall stick out of the defined area. Some additional cuts might be needed for those as well.2) Oversized Insert: The Cable Management Insert that it comes with for you to install smaller devices / adapters and manage your cables with is not manufactured to the proper tolerances and as such, cases the insert to bow slightly inside the enclosure. Clearly his wasn't manufactured to spec! Also mine was covered in a terrible oily residue from the manufacturing equipment that punches the tiny square holes in this insert... not good!3) Useless Bracket: They provide you with a bracket to use their "ECO-mini" proprietary surge protect. Doing a quick search, you'll see that Sanus discontinued that product a long time ago. Probably because it's not what they specialize in and it had terrible reviews.Long Story Short:Their engineers clearly didn't think this through and didn't do any field installations with it! Don't bother. Terrible build quality!Read more

I knew the dimensions of the box before order, so they came as no surprise, but Sanus has a lot of nerve calling this a LARGE box, given the size of components people often need to hide behind a TV. Other reviews are correct: the included cutout template is just flat out wrong; it doesn't allow for the ribs that connect the sides of the box to the surface flange, or the wings that must rotate to secure the box to the drywall. The shorter sides of the box include a (seemingly unnecessary) bump that reduces the usable width of the box by about 1/4 inch overall. I had to remove one of them to get a Samsung One Connect box to fit. I also had to remove one of the knockouts to allow sufficient room for cables connected to the One Connect box. If you're planning to use the electrical knockouts, beware that the plastic sides are flimsy and won't support the stresses of an attached electrical box very well, especially of you're using MC cable, or any other cable that goes where IT wants and not where YOU want. The wings that grip the drywall are too close to the corners of the box - the ends of them will be up against the studs, making it difficult to get them to swing into position after inserting the box into the wall. For the price, this should be a metal box about twice the size that it is.

I manage a custom integration team, and we have always preferred Sanus flat panel mounts. This is by far the most poorly designed Sanus product we have ever used. The dogleg fastener design is absolutely the worst we have had to try to install, and inferior to any other recessed flat panel box we have used. This product was obviously never properly vetted before release. The included template is not even correct. We have thrown the last few we had in the trash and are using another company’s product.
