I was looking to hang an old Panasonic TH-50PZ850U on my office wall. Looked around a few different mounts. A Sanus model I bought at a membership store (you know which one) looked promising and worked well for my Vizio LCD TV, but it did not look strong enough candidate for my plasma TV. Another recommended brand I bought on Amazon was sturdy enough, however the VESA mount pattern on the Panny was too wide to fit onto the wall bracket itself. I searched around and then found this one. It had a wide enough wall bracket to fit the extra wide Panny VESA pattern & was rated to easily support the weight. The bracket supports the TV very well and was relatively straight forward to put together. Just be careful about the brackets that actually fit onto the TV. If you swap the left & right, you'll have a difficult time in locking down the tilting tension. It was a pain to get the TV onto the wall (over 95 lbs) & I have no desire to take it down and swap the brackets. In any case, there are plenty of ways to get the right tilt, swivel & leveling for a full motion mount. Recommended for any old heavy plasma TV's.

I ordered this to replace the lighter model that was being used to hold a 65" TV. Technically, going by weight only, the other mount would have sufficed (it was rated for 165 lbs and the TV is only 98 lbs), but I wanted to be sure.I am really glad I did. Due to the larger size, it is not just a weight concern, but also a torque concern. Since the TV is taller, the torque was greater and caused the lighter mount to "give" a little bit at the wall plate. Not much, but enough to make me think that spending a few extra dollars to protect a TV valued at over $2500 seemed like a good idea.It was.The heavier duty mount plate is taller as well to counter the additional torque from the bigger TV. It is very solid, extends and pivots with ease, and it was very easy to install. You may not need this for a 65" TV, but I would definitely recommend this for anything bigger than that!

I purchased this TV Wall mount bracket (after returning two others) because the other brackets didn't fit my older 42" PANASONIC TV. Initially I wanted a mount that would be movable (swing out) and could support the weight. On the earlier occasions (I could only find non movable models) I opened the box and found the brackets could not fit the mounting holes on the PANASONIC and I sent it back; and ordered the other model and that one the holes ALMOST fit ,again this model didn't swing out. I just about to give up when I researched just one more time and bingo I found this one! It's specifications for support weight was the highest (200+ lbs.). Also I really wanted a double fulcrum swing arm for added stability. (I also might add, the price was good! considering the quality)I installed it and hung my PANASONIC TV ....no problems! In the near future I will order the same unit for my newer 60" SAMSUNG.

We had to order a new TV mount since we moved our 70" TV to the new living room. We needed something strong and trustworthy to hold our almost new flat screen TV. The installation was very easy and within 30 minutes, our TV was in its new home. This mount is very sturdy and we can rest assured that it is strong enough to hold our TV. It has been up for almost a month now and does a fantastic job. It is easy to swivel and tilt. High quality mount.

I've had my 46" Vizio TV that weights 100 lbs mounted on this for 4 months with no issues or visual distress in the metal. The one issue I did have was with the lag bolts that came with the mount. I was hand screwing the final one into the stud and the head of the bolt snapped off leaving the rest in the stud. I compared the lag bolts to my last flat mount from cheetah and the lag bolts were almost twice as thick. If I had not broken the lag bolt, I think the weight of my TV would have eventually broken them and caused hundreds of dollars in damage. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you go to a hardware store and get 4 3/8" thick lag bolts and throw out the ones included with the mount regardless of your TVs weight.

This mount went up with not too much trouble. I would have given it another star if they had the correct hardware in the package. Incorrect washers and lock washers. I had to go to the local hardware store after taking the TV out of the box and attaching the brackets. I have a 60" LG on the mount and it is as solid as can be.

Advertised as to handle heavy TV's. Way too much flex at the mounting points and a lot of sag. Did not trust it... returned.

So far this product has been an incredible disappointment. First, hardware pieces were missing from the box. I went to the store and purchased similar sized washers on my own. Next, the screws are incredibly cheap and immediately stripped will trying to attached the mount to the back of the tv. Now, I have a screw stuck in the back of my very expensive tv. Not worth the effort or the headache.
