Forget all the other TV stands, buy thus one! I searched extensively for a top quality heavy duty TV stand to hold my 55" brand new Samsung flat screen. I wanted stability, well made hardware and wheels. No cheap junk here just fantastic quality! My husband was against getting a mobile TV stand and wanted to mount it to the wall, now he LOVES this thing!! We wheel it all over the house depending on who wants to watch TV and in different rooms. You can pull it right up to the end of the bed, no squinting to see the TV. The cart is so flat and elegant looking that when not in use we push it against the wall, it looks mounted but it's not! Get it, you will love it!

Finally go around to putting this stand together. The stand was not that quite easy to assemble. Written instructions were minimal and were mostly by illustration. I had to undo the wheels because washers were required but were hard to see in the illustration. Lost about 20 to 30 minutes. Some items would not stay in place to screw in. You need either a second person to hold the items in place or do what I did which is use packing tape to hold the items in place while I screwed the items in. Again quite few minutes were lost while I figured this out. The tray was especially difficult to assemble. It took me 20 minutes to study the illustration just to determine how put it together. Then it took another 30 minutes to actually get it on. It should have taken no more than 5 minutes total. I finally finished the stand and put in the screws to the TV (55" Toshiba Fire edition). The screws were too long but the spacers provided where too long. I had to use my own 8 extra washers to fill in the space. Thankfully I had them in hand but it still took extra time to get the them and figure out how many I needed. The top screw needed one washer and the bottom screw needed three washers. Two people were required to put the TV on the stand. I then attached some pieces to the bottom of the TV attachment to keep it more secure. I am not really sure these pieces were actually required since my TV is so heavy. However, better safe than sorry. Unfortunately, the power cord plug in is behind the top holder of the stand and it was impossible to attach once the TV is on the stand. Had to call in my wife again, take the TV off the stand, plug in the power cord, attached the ethernet wire at the same time, and then my wife and I had to remount the stand. After all this, the attachment for the cameral at the top of the stand did not fit because my 55" TV was too large. So no camera attachment. I will also have to watch the height adjustment which is a spring loaded pin. The pin does not appear to be fully extended at the height I selected. Lastly, one of the finishing plastic pieces around the wire holes broke on installation. Does not invalidate the stand and it is back of stand anyway. But still. I will ask the company to replace the piece. I don't know what they can do about the camera attachment. On a positive note, the stand is quite heavy and appears to be sturdy. The wheels also appear sturdy and make the stand maneuverable. The bottom of the stand has the front wheels further out then the back wheels. This seems to make the stand less likely to tip. Especially important for my very heavy 55" TV. After all is said and done, I did get the stand together with a little help from my wife. I will report back after I used it for a while.Read more

This is the same exact product as the Kanto MTM65. Except about 50 dollars less when I bought it.How do I know? No instructions were sent with my stand. (-1 star) So I searched the net for pdf instructions. There is no such thing. And barely a website for this company. However, I looked up Kanto, watched one of their videos on how to put their model together. It was the exact same thing with the same parts.Once I figured out how to put this stand together I have no complaints with it. Seems solid enough so far.

There are two reasons I wanted to buy a rolling mobile TV cart. One, it had to roll over carpet easily and this unit does that. The second was, I wanted the TV screen to be adjustable; up or down because I planned to use the 40' TV in my bedroom where the height would be mostly low profile, this adjustable feature is a major DESIGN FAIL!My feeling of dread began as soon as I opened the box of parts -- there were no directions and parts list on top as expected, but I could see them in the bottom of the box, which necessitated emptying the box to scatter parts around the room before they could be inventoried. With the parts list and directions in hand, I discovered that everything was written in typical Chinese pictographs; little drawings but nothing written in any language except when it came time to insert the two upper poles.First the welded together base pipes needed to inserted into matching holes in the base. That was easier said than done because there is almost zero tolerance between the holes and pipe diameter. That was accomplished in around a half hour of cussing. Next, the two pipes that sleeved into the base pipes need to be inserted individually and raised or lowered as per the pictograph. Now here strange began. The upper pipes were raised or lowered by a spring loaded button. That is, push a button in to the adjust the upper pipe heights individually before the two pipes are joined by bolts to the top cross piece that would eventually hold the TV by supplied brackets. The problem here was and is that I wanted the 40" TV to be as low as possible without conflicting with the cable box shelf; low profile. However I couldn't tell by looking and couldn't add the TV until the upper cross bracket was bolted in place. I decided to hang the TV temporally to see how low it could go, then use both hands to push both buttons at the same time and let gravity take its course all without the TV in place. I managed to drop the upper joined pipes two holes or stops before one button disappeared to inside the pipe on one side, which I think jammed somewhere between holes, thus ending further adjustment, either up or down apparently forever. Now back to the brackets that were to be bolted to the back of the TV with four bolts into four bolt holes. Guess what? There is no way that the four bolts would line up with all four holes. So I was forced to use only the two top most bolts/holes. Now the TV is a brand new Samsung, not some strange off brand so this is a bracket DESIGN FLAW. Next, when actually hanging the TV on the cross piece, I found in another pictograph that the costly TV was to be locked in place with only two tiny little pieces of metal that remain less than confidence inspiring especially when the TV is to be used as 'handles' to move the whole mess about.Still more frustrating, when the cable guy came to hook the TV up, he found that both the width and length of the upper bracket from which the TV is hung, effectively covered all the jacks that are built into the middle back of the TV. Fortunately, the TV had an HDMI jack on the side so the cable guy used that instead. YET ANOTHER DESIGN FLAW!In conclusion, if you haven't already guessed, is that I would have sent the whole thing back were it not for the problem of disassembly and packing. In fact with the pipe supports jammed I probably couldn't even take it apart! It is most unfortunate that this rolling cart is one big design fail.It is built using heavy steel powder coated components that should outlast a any TV. The unit could have been easily adjusted at any time by simply using single, large upright sleeved pipes which could be raised or lowered by using the same hydraulic system used regularly in adjustable bar stools and tables. And, the major top cross piece could have easily been more open and just as strong enough to hold a TV.There is one last point I failed to mention: Nowhere could I find the country of manufacture, the company name, mailing address. email address or phone number to contact for advice or to vent. It seems that someone, somewhere is not very proud of their work and doesn't care......Read more

Black

A black finish on your tv stand is one of the best options for a tv stand. Black establishes an eye-catching relationship between the rest of the living room decor and your tv stand. It also makes the furniture complement each other. The black finish will most likely blend in with the rest of your decor and walls unless you choose a different option. The tv stand itself won’t stand out, but you can use elements around it that do. For example, white flower vases are a great bet. The exact role can be taken on by the area rug or the lighting in the room. Each black tv finish stand has its own set of properties, which allow it to stand out in various ways and to interact with the surrounding space in its path. However, the black finish will easily show dust hence making you clean more. This finish does not take scratches and dents well, therefore expensive to maintain.
