Very attractive and sturdy. They took a while to put together but the instructions were straightforward. There were a few compressed areas on the bed that looked like gauges but I believe it happened during shipping and the supplier took care of the problem quickly.

Purchased it for my kids room they needed bigger beds but have a small room. Also got it because it can turn into two uniform beds for when they get their own rooms. My husband tightened everything and made sure it was sturdy. It's great for the price. My girls love it.Doesnt come with the mattresses but that wasnt an issue for us specifically. Two people are needed when stacking them.I had to climb it once to reach my child during her tantrum and it was easy to climb (the ladder felt safe) but it was wobbly once I was on it- I weighed 190 lbs at the time and my daughter is about 60 lbs- that's why it did that. It was a lot harder coming down had to call my husband to guide me haha. I havent tried it now that I lost weight but it's for smaller humans so I'm not gonna do that again. The smell of wood was a bit strong but it fades.Their top mattress is 6 inches and it comes up to about the first side bar. The bottom mattress is 8 inches. It's a bit tall for my 4 year old but she climbs in just fine. The bottom of the bed is tall enough to fit either one of those roll out beds or storage bins.Easy for an adult to slide on carpet to reach the lost socks and toys.Totally recommend it for kid rooms.Read more

Instructions were clear and all parts were labeled well. I was able to assemble it by myself in about 3 hours. Definitely needed a second person to lift the top bunk into place. It feels relatively sturdy, although I only allow my 150lb son on the bottom bunk. I plan to add plywood sheets over the wooden slats to prevent mattress slippage. Overall, for the money, I'm happy.

This is great for younger children (3-13). The weight limit is 165 per bunk so think about that before purchasing. Putting my 4 year old down has gotten complicated on nights where he needs more TLC. We both can’t lay in the bed together and be under the weight limit.

I am pleased with the way this bunk bed looks. However, I am surprised at how wobbly it is. I guess considering the low price point, we should've expected that it wouldn't be solid compared to other bunks on the market. And beware: it ships in one huge, heavy box. Ours was delayed four days, and when it finally arrived, the box had been taped back together because half of it came apart. Thankfully, the product only had a few minor dents; not enough to justify the hassle of sending it back.

I put okay, because the bed is just okay. It fits the mattress well. It is true to color. I have a 4 year old and a 7 year old, so I was hoping the bed would grow with them. The first thing was before we could get the mattress on the kids broke two of the wood slats. We made it work. The slats are so far apart that we had to get a thicker mattress, not just a memory foam. I was hoping that we could unbunk it in the future as the girls get older, but we don't see how that is possible. The last thing is it is wiggly, not so much to make it unsafe, but enough to make lots of noise at night. I don't see this holding up once they hit Jr High. I would not recommend for older kids. Not happy that I will have to replace this bed in the next few years and would not recommend.

This bunk bed shifts and moves A LOT. Very wobbly. It looks awesome and I love the color but I dont feel like its sturdy or safe which is the most important aspect to me. I'm disappointed as I had high hopes for this.

Not good quality they are very wobbly not real wood. We have to keep ours as twins and not buckbeds cause they way they wobbled I was afraid it would fall and break on my younger children sleeping on the bottom

Do you need a bunkie board or plywood under the mattresses?
No. We placed the mattress on the slats. Our mattresses had springs. Maybe a foam type mattress would need more support though.

Twin

A Twin bed also referred to as a single bed is one of the smallest bed in the market with a dimension of 38’’ by 75’’. Its compact size makes it ideal for single sleepers may it be children or an adult living in a small space such as a studio apartment. It’s an affordable and versatile bed set up for various sleepers such as toddlers and college student in the dorm. For over several decades it has been one of the most popular beds among college students and young children in their early teens as you can find it in most of their bedrooms, however in this modern age where people are seeking for more comfort and space, the popularity of twin beds is been over taken by queen size beds. Despite being great for growing children it’s also very flexible and versatile especially if you are trying to maximize the space in your bedroom.

Gray

Gray as a color can be somehow depressing and uninspiring especially in a darker bedroom, and as you already know sleeping in a gray bedroom is not as satisfying as sleeping in a brighter bedroom. Gray might not be as inviting as other colors but that doesn’t mean that a Gray bed is not a good choice for your bedroom. All you need to know before choosing a gray bed or any other no so bright colored bed is which bedroom décor is the best for that specific bed color. With a gray bed it can be really advantageous especially if you have an all-white bedroom since it will tone down the general look for your bedroom, creating some form of contrast. In case you have a bright bedroom and you wish to tone down I would definitely recommend for you a gray bed to help tone down your bedroom décor.

Bunk Loft

Sometimes, bunk beds and loft beds are often being used interchangeably. Don't fall for it. These two bed types have a difference. Yes, you may notice that they both have a ladder. However, a bunk bed has at least two beds stacked on top of each other and a loft bed, though a double-level bed as well, is only a single bed. Bunk beds are commonly seen in hostels, military camps, and dormitories. In addition, some of this kind come with a trundle or pull-out bed that can accommodate one more person.

On the other hand, loft beds allow you to use the space beneath your bed as a study or work area or as a closet. If the time will come when you decide that you don't need a bunk bed anymore, don't worry, you can convert it to a loft bed. Simply and carefully remove the bottom bunk. Depending on your needs, both bunk and loft beds are space-saving.
