I've got one of those big eight-space cube storage units with the cloth bins, but I wanted something rigid. I was using those plastic storage drawers when i came across this. OMG, it's awesome. It fits PERFECTLY in one of the spaces, and it only took me about twenty minutes to put it together. Seems plenty sturdy, looks great, matches the unit almost exactly. I'm ordering another one for one of the other spaces, and maybe some for the unit I have in the enclosed patio. Came a lot faster than they'd estimated too.

I must say I am very impressed with this little storage cabinet! I needed a small stand to raise up my tower fan as my new bed was taller and the fan did not blow across the bed, but rather at the side of it. I liked the idea of having some extra storage for bits and pieces. It’s quite nice looking. All the pieces were present and well packaged. No blemishes or scratches. It took me about 20 minutes to put it together and I had no issues doing so. I also like the idea of the little pins that you can insert in the top to add additional units securely. For a small unit this is really a nicely made item. I will likely purchase a few more.A word of advice...try to buy as many as you need at the same time. I just discovered that right after I purchased the one, the price jumped about $4 !

This 2 drawer storage cabinet is very petite and can only hold a few pieces of clothing or socks, etc. It is very short so you may want to get 2 or sit it on top of something else. It took me about 2 hours to put it together and I cracked a piece of the particle board off when insertingthe screws so be careful because it is delicate. Lol The espresso brown matched the rest of my furniture perfectly.

Im using this on a cabinet shelf in my bathroom for hair accessories and for makeup. I bought nine inch square lucite trays, to use in each drawer on Amazon. This looks nice and clean. Warning there are no drawer stoppers so they could pull out easily unless you are aware or add some yourself. Also be aware that the sides of the drawer assembled are not as high as the drawer front.

This was perfect for what I needed it for. I bought a really high bedframe which means my nightstand was now really low and it was hard for me to reach my needed items that were in my nightstand. So I bought this and placed it on top of my nightstand and it works perfectly! I love that I can easily reach my water bottle now, and my vitamins or lotion or anything that I want to have easier access to while I am laying in bed.

The point at which, in my mind, a product stops being an item of furniture of which "some assembly is required" and becomes "a craft project kit for making an item of furniture" is the point that included in the package is a tube of glue. There's a tube of glue, so this is a craft project. But all told it's a pretty good one.Things like this basically have three areas in which they need to be reviewed: how good it is as a piece of furniture, how good it is as a kit to build a piece of furniture out of, and how well it was produced and packed. As a piece of furniture:It's exactly what I ordered and exactly what I wanted. I needed something of very precise dimensions to fit a specific space, and two of these, stacked, fit perfectly. They're not all that much to look at, but you can tell that from the pictures. The drawer pulls are ugly as sin, but they do work. I am nevertheless extremely pleased with them for how precisely they matched my desired form-factor.Happily, these turned out to be amazingly sturdy. I've put together a lot of furniture of late, and this is as structurally solid as particle board furniture gets. No sway, no looseness. Additionally, included are alignment pins and pre-drilled holes for them, to stack them. They're perfect, and work great. The two together feel very solid. The drawers move very easily; they move a bit loosely in the unit. The rails are plastic so it's pretty quiet. Note that when you open the drawers, the slots in which the rails rest are visible, and clearly raw particle board. It would have been nice if the slots could have been lined with a color-matched plastic. As a kit for making an item of furniture from:Mostly really excellent. I'm getting to be an DIY furniture assembly snob, so by now, I really noticed all the many small, thoughtful touches in the design for assembly of this piece. For instance all the pieces that could be symmetrical, were symmetrical, so the user can't get the orientation wrong when gluing it in: all orientations are okay. The entire unit is symmetrical top-bottom, so if your top piece is scratched, just turn the assembled unit over and it's the bottom now.Another such thoughtful touch: mostly this is held together with woodscrews, so they include an extra one, packaged separately so you don't get confused by what it's doing there. All the pieces are tagged, and the tags hadn't fallen off in transit; the tags take a little effort to get off, but don't leave much residue. All the tags are placed thoughtfully so they don't get trapped or wind up in corners that are hard to remove once the piece is assembled. The real stand out here is that the tolerances this was manufactured to are legit amazing. Almost all the holes and slots and pegs lined up *chefs kiss* perfectly. I had only two problems, both fixable. The first drawer I put together, one of the slide slots for the floor was off a fraction of a millimeter, and the floor couldn't drop down into the back as far as it needed to get the front on. I was able to back off the screws to the back, get the floor in, and then tighten them down okay. The other problem is one of the cams wouldn't initially seat, but backing off the front piece of the drawer a hair got it in there, and then when I tightened it it, was fine. The only other difficulty I had was getting the drawer pulls on – the screws are very tight into the aluminum pulls.Other than that, it felt pretty much effortless to get it together. Like a real pleasure. Except for the glue. Using glue always stresses me out.The kit's production:The instructions are wordless schematics, but I found them perfectly clear. They're also linked above if you want to review them in advance. (I remain dubious about putting wood glue in holes in a piece and then turning the piece over and trying to get it into place from above. That seems like a recipe to get wood glue drips all over everything. I did it the other way around, and it was fine.)The packaging was thoughtful, but perhaps insufficient. One of my units arrived with a bunch of superficial damage, scratches and dings which I don't feel great about in something I just bought. Not sure if that was damage from transit, or production faults in the factory. That made me knock a point off my rating of value for money. The glue tube could have been easier to open and would have benefited by a very slightly smaller diameter tip, for more accurate dispensing. Also it's about 20 times more glue than is necessary for this project. I literally used about 5% of the total tube. The cellophane packaging for the hardware was fine for me, but I'm smart enough not to try to rip those open and send screws everywhere.Further notes for purchasers:You'll want a blade to get into the package. Use scissors to open the hardware bags. It's packed with Styrofoam, so everything is coated in little white particles of it. I used a Swiffer sheet to get it off.Like I said, glue, so either do this on a surface you don't mind dripping glue on, or put down a drop cloth. Also, have paper towels handy to wipe up excess, and have a plan for where the open tube, which has no cap, is going to rest between pieces while you work on this. I used a tray from take-out food. The hardware is mostly screws, mostly philips head, and two standard-head screw cams. I used a cordless drill with screw bits, except for the cams and the tight screws for the drawer pulls, which I had to do by hand.Took me an hour and a half to do two of them, what with having to wipe down all the pieces, find the drop cloth, etc.Read more

Plus sides:+ affordable+ easy to assemble+ is cubeDrawbacks:- papery outside coat easily damaged- MDF panels brittle- drawer rails not awesomeI bought two of these. The outside material of the MDF panels is this matte paper-like veneer, which isn't super sturdy. There were several blemishes on the surface from the friction while the panels were packed in the box traveling to me. I solved the issue by wrapping the panels in adhesive vinyl shelf liner before assembling the cubes. There was enough hardware and glue included to assemble the cubes, and the assembly steps itself were easy to follow. Some of the panels were damaged in transit, minor dents on edges and corners, so clearly the MDF material isn't very sturdy. Now, if the material out of which these were made was just a bit better, I would have given 5 stars, taking into account the price. As it is, the drawers will serve me until a move, most likely, and when they inevitably crumble on the way to a new location, I'll need two new drawer cubes.Read more

Make sure to read the dimensions. I made the mistake and did not. It was much smaller than I anticipated. I am not sure what you would actually put in this. I was going to use it as a night stand and put clothes in it, but it is way too small. It is my mistake for not reading closely. But it is small! Otherwise, it was easy to put together by myself and is an okay little storage unit. I ended up putting it in my son's playroom for his Legos.
