This bunk set is very sturdy and comfortable. It fit beautiful in the small room that we were putting it in. We purchase the silver set and a black cushion.

I purchased this bed in black for my sisters two boys who were sharing a room. Bed arrived in great conditions and was pretty easy to put together. It is heavy so be warned you will need an extra set of hands.

It is a solid frame overall, except for the middle front support bends easily. You have to make sure it stays straight been folding from futon to a bed so it does not break off.

good product but the delivery company was terrible. They changed the delivery day twice and damaged my freshly painted walls then denied it.

This item was delivered to my home on March 16, My son and I started putting it together right away. We was half way through when I notice a few screws were missing and the guardrail screws were too short. I called customer service in let them know about the situation. They assure me that the hardware will get sent out immediately but here I am 2 weeks later with know hardware. I called back a second time they recommended that I can find the rest of the hardware myself ( which I don’t have time to do) and that they will reimburse me $50. We can dismantle it and return it but we spend a lot of time putting it together, If I have to I will. This is completely bad for business and I am not a happy customer. I will never order anything else from here or recommend them to anyone. This is not a guaranteed customer satisfaction company.

This is a fine bed frame if you don't mind:1) Extremely poor quality coating -- prior to assembly the coating was flaking off. It appears that it doesn't stick very well to the underlying metal *and* they coat the tubing *then* drill the bolt holes and such. I bought the model with the "silver" coating so this wasn't easily noticeable.2) The plastic end caps for the tubing sometimes don't fit -- they slip out easily or are slightly too large. Those that "fit" either don't fully cover the tube ends or are not flush with the tube ends.3) The plastic end caps are made of super brittle plastic and break very easily -- for instance when you're trying to install them, or when they fall to the floor because they fit too loosely. They need to be made of flexible plastic so they stick to the inside of the tubing and don't shatter when someone coughs on it.4) The plastic end caps cannot be super-glued back together because it's the wrong type of plastic. On the plus side, it looks decent, assembles and disassembles well, is light weight, and sturdy. If they fixed the poor coating (or skipped the coating altogether) and the plastic caps this would be a full 5 stars.

Full / Double

A Full / Double bed is a bed meant for couples to share, however with the emergence of so many size options full-double beds are now mainly meant for single sleepers. Back in the 1940s a couple would perfectly fit and enjoy a full double bed, in fact you might have seen one in those 90s movies a classic full-double bed with a nightstand next to it and an old black and white TV on the wall. In modern day, full-double beds are still very popular, mainly among the younger generation who are not married yet and desire a little bit of comfort. Full-double beds fell out of favor of many couple with the introduction of king and queen size beds in to the markets. But despite that a full-double bed is still an excellent choice for single adults with limited space but still desire a bigger bed.

Twin

A Twin bed also referred to as a single bed is one of the smallest bed in the market with a dimension of 38’’ by 75’’. Its compact size makes it ideal for single sleepers may it be children or an adult living in a small space such as a studio apartment. It’s an affordable and versatile bed set up for various sleepers such as toddlers and college student in the dorm. For over several decades it has been one of the most popular beds among college students and young children in their early teens as you can find it in most of their bedrooms, however in this modern age where people are seeking for more comfort and space, the popularity of twin beds is been over taken by queen size beds. Despite being great for growing children it’s also very flexible and versatile especially if you are trying to maximize the space in your bedroom.

Black

When trying to open up a smaller bedroom most people often think about bright colors with light hues, but also there is a stronger advantage for going darker and there is no better way to do that than with a black bed. Black is known to amplify small spaces and also set the right mood in your bedroom space. A black colored bed makes your bedroom fell more intimate and special in ways that you could have never imagined before, something that you would never achieve with any of those bright colors. There is nothing as important as setting the right mood in your bedroom especially if you are a couple since it’s the base of your relationship romantically. A black bed adds a touch of intrigue but still blends right into the bedroom décor colors creating a timeless look.

Blue

A Blue bed creates a soothing soft feeling each time you walk into your bedroom. Just like a breath of fresh air it adds a dreamy feeling and a ton of versatility making it one of the best go to bed colors. In fact blue is one of the best color for sleep as it is very calming. One of the best thing you can do is get yourself a blue bed, according to a recent study an individual with a blue bed or bedroom slept for an approximate of 8 hours. This show cases how good the blue color is since even an average person doesn’t even get 7 hours of uninterrupted sleep. As if that is not good enough 60 percent of people who sleep on a blue bed or bedroom are likely to wake up each morning very happy, after all who wouldn’t after such a great sleep.

Red

Color is one of the easiest way to create a good flow of energy in your home, for example red might not be a very common color in the bedroom, however a red colored bed transforms the bedroom to a place of rejuvenation, peace, and pleasure. A red bed brings about a good flow of energy that balances out your bedroom. Also note that a red bed can very easily bring in an immediate spark into your bedroom space without so much effort. A red bed being a symbol of divine energy provides a large room to explore various creativity levels. A balanced red bedroom will bring about more enjoyment, excitement, joy and even sexual desire, however an imbalance of color red can bring about luck of happiness, since we all know in china red is a color that is associated with happiness and luck, so go ahead and get yourself a red bed.

Silver

Sliver is a monochromatic color that creates a clean and elegant bedroom space. A silver colored bed goes perfectly well with a wooden flooring or any other dark wooden furniture in your bedroom. It’s also mainly used in bedrooms with bright blue accent walls to create a perfect environment for to relax after a long day’s work. To many people, silver is still considered a luxurious color and as a result a silver bed is definitely a representation luxury. Silver also has sleep inducing characteristics that will help you get more sleep, on average you are likely to get 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep. A silver colored bedroom on the other hand doesn’t look boring or washed up, but instead it creates an amazing bedroom with a lot of depth without even considering the contrasting colors.

Bunk Loft

Sometimes, bunk beds and loft beds are often being used interchangeably. Don't fall for it. These two bed types have a difference. Yes, you may notice that they both have a ladder. However, a bunk bed has at least two beds stacked on top of each other and a loft bed, though a double-level bed as well, is only a single bed. Bunk beds are commonly seen in hostels, military camps, and dormitories. In addition, some of this kind come with a trundle or pull-out bed that can accommodate one more person.

On the other hand, loft beds allow you to use the space beneath your bed as a study or work area or as a closet. If the time will come when you decide that you don't need a bunk bed anymore, don't worry, you can convert it to a loft bed. Simply and carefully remove the bottom bunk. Depending on your needs, both bunk and loft beds are space-saving.

Kids

The home is the training ground for children. It's where they learn and cultivate their values and character. So as a parent or a guardian, you play a big role in who they will become. Allow them to be themselves, to explore what they like, and to play with their imagination. Actually, you can start with their bedroom. How? Ask them what wall color they like. If you have an extra budget for a custom-made bed, ask your little one how he would like for it to look like. A car? A train? A spaceship? A dollhouse? Or if you can, build the bed yourself! It can be a great bonding time for you and your kids.

A kid's bed can also be space-saving with its built-in drawers, which can be a way to tidy up their toys and books. Beds with bedside table, where your child(ren) can study and play with papers and crayons, are also available in the market. Of course, kids love to play. Make bedtime fun with tent beds, beds with slide, and house-shaped kids' beds! Surely, your youngster will enjoy both his waking and sleeping hours.

Metal

One of the most asked question when it comes metallic beds is, are they safe for younger children? And the answer is always, yes they are. One of reason to why metal beds have grown in popularity over the last couple of years is the fact that they require less maintenance since as we all know metal does not dent or scratch easily making it even a more attractive option as compared to wooden and plastic beds. When it comes to durability also metal beds are currently the most durable beds in the market more durable than the wooden beds and would even handle more weight than a wooden bed frame. Metal beds are also highly portable since they are lighter than other types of bed, and in case you are the kind of person who love rearranging their bedroom setup you will definitely love the metal bed.

Single Material

When you need to kick back and unwind on your own, you need a single-material bed. Single-material beds are an excellent choice for anyone that likes simplicity and practicality. Without combining materials, you get a clean and uniform looking bed that will match any bedroom. The con of a single-material bed is that they won’t stand out as much as other beds, but this can also be a pro as well, as it means they’ll easily blend into any room and not take attention away from other features that are nearby. The single-material is recommended if you’re after a bed for a minimalist setting, something that looks very simple and neutral - then you’re going to be satisfied by the single-material bed. Single-material beds also look great when you have two separate beds in the same room - the single-material look really gives the room a strong, matching and consistent appearance.

Transitional

The transitional bedroom style is one of the most difficult style to master as it is a combination of the traditional and contemporary style, resulting to a classic and timeless design referred to as the transitional style. With this style you will have bold bedroom walls and ceiling, plus unexpected bedroom furniture combination through the smart use of color. This style gives your bedroom that personal warm ambiance. One advantage of the transitional style is that it gets to retain its classic traditional attributes while still having a modern appearance. It’s known to embrace comfortable furnishing, and soft lines without that fuss of traditional styling, while keeping color palettes on the minimum. Incorporating this style into your bedroom gives you that elegant and timeless feel that combines the new with the old. This style is almost similar to the electric style, however it’s more about mixing contemporary furnishing with antiques.

Beds

A bed can be referred as a piece of furniture which is used as a place to fall asleep and relax. In this modern age beds consist of a soft cushioned mattress and a bed frame, the mattress is usually resting on a sprung base, solid base, or a wood slats. Beds come in different sizes ranging from infant-sized cribs to small beds that can just accommodate one person, to large king and queen sized beds designed for two or more people. Most bed are usually a single mattress and a fixed frame, however there are other varieties such as a sofa bed, which folds out of a sofa or a murphy bed that folds in to a wall. Other beds can be referred as temporary beds as they contain neither a bedframe nor a mattress, a good example is the inflatable air mattress or the folding camp cot.
