We kept our mattress which is 12" deep and we wanted a new bed frame. We no longer wanted to use a box spring, because it made the bed too high for us. This bed frame is good looking and so is the headboard. It's exactly what we needed. We had someone we know put it together for us. He had never assembled a bed frame before and he told us that it was easy to do. The supports for the mattress are well placed - the mattress is more comfortable now than it was when we were using a box spring underneath it. Go figure! We love the look of this frame and headboard. We were a little hesitant about purchasing such an item online, but have been very happy with this purchase.

This bed does not have enough good reviews so I am adding my voice. Overall, great value. I like the style and it arrived and is assembled as expected from the photos. As you assemble the bed, some aspects of the parts are imperfect - for instance, some of the screw holes had wood splinters I had to remove to allow space for the hardware. I'm not handy at all and could assemble this with a basic $10 tool set. You really only need a Philips head screwdriver at the end to secure each slack in. The majority of the assembly can be done with the little basic wrench item included. I'm quite happy with it and great value for the price point. I sense I need to hang onto the wrench thing to tighten any loosen parts as I use it but from a structure, design, and quality standpoint I'm happy.

Love the bed. Only down side is there is a piece under the headboard that you add on with the little wooden tabs but there is no pre cut circular holes for them to fit into. If you have no way of cutting those perfectly I don’t recommend. I’m not sure but I definitely think there’s a piece missing. There is a center slab that goes from the footboard to the head board—you add two legs to the bottom to support the center but up near the headboard there is nothing to support. I had to go buy and cut a piece of wood to create a leg for more support otherwise the center portion of the top half of the bed starts to cave downward with the lack of support. I love it overall. Definitely the look I was going for but there is quite a few DIYs lol. If you’re not up for it I don’t recommend.

This bed frame is super cute once you figure out how to put it together. First, expect multiple boxes. If you’re missing one box, like I was, you won’t be able to even entertain the idea of putting this together. Secondly, the instructions have no words on them and the pictures are nearly impossible to understand. Putting this frame together was so frustrating and difficult I had to knock it down two stars. You also cannot put this together alone. The order in which they have you assemble requires two people which is annoying. Like I said, super cute once completed but an absolute nightmare to assemble.

We got this bedframe in a king size in July and after a month it already broke on us. My boyfriend keeps having to reinforce it. I wish there was an option to return this frame because it really isn't study at all and we followed all of the instructions to put it together correctly.... I don't recommend this bed especially if you plan on having more than one person sleep on it. My boyfriend is a little under 200 pounds and I'm around 135 pounds and even when I get into bed it would sound like it was about to break. Save your money and find something sturdier (especially if you're a couple).

I have tried contacting the vendor on here but never received a response. The footboard wasn’t drilled in order to properly assemble the bed and I have since put holes into it in order to have a bed for my son. The bed also didn’t have all the hardware needed for assembly. All I have asked for was a replacement footboard. The bed could be beautiful if I was given all the peices required.

The bed looks nice, but it required a lot extra steps for assembly. Some of the pieces were missing pre drilled holes. Also, the alignment of the holes were off which made it even more difficult to put together.update: BED IS BROKEN AFTER ONE YEAR OF USE. save yourself the money and do not buy this bed. It isn't stable and made from very cheap composite wood. IKEA future is stronger then this POC

A linen-upholstered bed is breathable, easy to clean, and hypo-allergenic, but is prone to wrinkles and low stain-resistance. A velvet-upholstered bed is good for those with pets and can be dyed in rich colors, but high-maintenance and very expensive. A cotton-upholstered bed is abrasion-resistant and allows you to maintain a cool feeling, but not that stain-resistant and its fibers may weaken when directly exposed to sunlight. Hardwoods

Hardwood wood varieties refer to the type of tree the wood is taken from; it has nothing to do with how heavy or dense the wood is (contrary to popular belief!). Hardwood woods are sourced from trees that have leaves and lose their leaves in the winter months. Types of hardwood trees include hickory, maple, oak, birch and cherry (among others). Wood from hardwood trees is usually harder and therefore more dense, as these trees tend to grow at a slower rate. Hardwood is ideal for use in indoor furniture crafting, as it is sturdy and durable. Most hardwood varieties are bright and beautiful in their natural tone/shade, but many take well to staining, finishes and paints. The hardwood varieties offer a cozy, warm look and enrich your bedroom style. Hardwood bed frames are a great way to brighten your bedroom and enhance the overall look and feel of your sleep space!

Walnut wood is extremely strong and durable; it is one of the more versatile wood varieties and is relatively easy to work with in terms of woodworking craftsmanship. The look of walnut furniture is very clean and simple and can easily adapt into a traditional or contemporary décor style. The natural color of walnut wood is a beautiful, natural tone that will enhance the ambience of your bedroom and it will make it feel relaxing and calm. Walnut wood bed frames are a bit pricier than other available wood varieties, but you get what you pay for; walnut wood furniture is some of the longest-lasting, sturdiest bedroom furniture available on the market. Walnut wood bed frames look incredible when paired with neutral toned fabrics and simple textiles, such as an off-white or muted blue color palette.
