I have to say that after reading the reviews, I was hesitant to buy this. Now I want another one.The reviews whined about the pressed wood and cardboard and called it cheap. What do they think they'll get for $50?This cabinet is perfectly designed to store CDs and DVDs!!! It's called small. It stores small things. Did they expect a railroad car?It is absolutely perfect for its advertised purpose. As an engineer, inventor and designer myself, I say Attaboy, Atlantic! Home run!

I ordered one of these to get rid of a HUGE armoire that my husband stored his movies in. He was worried that it wouldn't be big enough. He was partially correct, but who, in this day and age, needs 100 hard copy DVDs?? So, he whittled down his collection and agreed to try it. It was shipped fast and I love it and so did he. Then he convinced me to get a 2nd one to mirror the sides of our TV/Fireplace and I can store some other items that I'd like to hide. They look great! I love the curved doors, and it's surprisingly good quality. It was so easy to put together that when the 2nd one came without instructions, I put the 2nd one together with no problem. I would absolutely recommend this!! You should realize that it IS small, as some of the other reviews have said, but if you measure before you order, you will have a good idea of the size.

It is easy to assemble but I do wish they labeled the pieces better to know what is the front and what is the back. I end up having to redo things a few times cause it wasn't clear how to do it.The stand wobbles when pushing it... it won't break but doesn't feel fully secure like I wanted it.The picture made it seem bigger than what it is. It's actually quite small...

I have 3 of these. They are pretty good for the price. Each is filled with CD'S and are stable even on carpet. The doors are nice - push on the door and it opens. Held closed magnetically. Only one complaint - the pictograms for assembly are weak. It took great scrutiny to be sure I had the parts assembled right-side up for example. A little more verbiage would have been nice, such as, an indicator what side is front, back, top and bottom. By the time I got to the third one, it was easy.

I'm questioning the negative reviews on this. It's a $50 piece of furniture that's sturdy and gets the job done. The quality is just barely below what you'd get from Ikea but at a fraction of the price. Also, it's on the smaller side but I wasn't at all surprised by this because I actually looked at the pictures and read the measurements.I was searching high and low for a cabinet (with doors) to store my blu-rays in; everything was in the $200-$400 range and none of them even made great use of space. This thing was just what I needed.

i have very specific limitations that this item fits (the right height & covered storage), but there's a lot to NOT like about this DVD rack. it works but only just. every part of the unit is as cheap & crappy as they could possibly get away withunboxing - the unit is packed/protected with really cheap & crumbly styrofoam, which gets EVERYWHERE. also all the parts are covered with very fine black fibers (which are a by-product of the textured surface-i think). consequently i needed to carefully vacuum all sides of every part.Assembly - the construction is similar to an IKEA bookcase - but much crappier - the dowels were all under sized so they were loose in their holes. the instructions were not up to IKEA standards, but acceptable. as i assembled the unit everything felt flimsy. However, once completed the unit seemed rigid enough. but can't speak to how it will stand up over time. one other thing of note - the unit doesn't have feet. i put felt pads on the corners so it will slide on my tile floors.would i recommend it? meh. will i buy more for myself? yes i will - complaining all the time.Read more

This case in not sturdy at all and is very short, but easy to assemble. This case came used or refurbished in one of my pictures you can see the damage to one of the boards and the chipped wood and you can see in another picture how they glued the border back on. The screws also came with 2 or more letters on them for different pieces. Ex: "A"was for a board and "A" was for screws and the screws were labeled ex: "N" for 1 type of screw and "N" for a different type. That's another reason how I knew that this case was sent back and refurbished/used. Therefore, I had to figure out which screws to use based off of experience from assembling things and looking at the picture. I will never buy again and wasn't worth the money spent. I couldn't send mine back because I missed the return deadline. So, I assembled and put it in my child's room for his dvds since I couldn't use it.

Junk.. do not buy. This sat in my sons room fro about 4 months befire j started to put it together and today I get it out of the box to assemble and there is stripped screws because the holes will not lign up where they should go. The directions are ridiculously crazy. I wish I wouodve started this months ago so I could return or get a replacement. This is by far the worst item I've ever bought from Amazon. Only way I'd take this down is if they offered to send me a replacement and I could send this one back. Someone really didn't know what they were doing when they made this pc of furniture. So I'm back to square one again trying to find a cabinet for my sons games and dvds.
