I almost didn't order this after reading several reviews complaining about how hard it was to assemble. I believe one reviewer even mentioned taking several days to get it put together.Baloney. For all the fuss they made I almost expected the instructions to be in a different language.If you're in the market for this product as opposed to paying $600 for a slightly better-looking version at the furniture store, my guess is you've also assembled your share of IKEA furniture. This was no different. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, every piece and every screw was well-labeled. We had it together in about an hour and it looks great.I included photos of the part everyone is up in arms about. The drawer rail pictures are inaccurate on the instructions. As you can see, on the instructions the rails should be flush with the edges. Looking at the finished product, they are not - no biggie. The pre-drilled holes for the rails are in the correct place, so just ignore the instructions, line up the holes and you'll be fine.Don't let the bad reviews steer you away. I'm not a handyman by any means. I work in IT so I know my way around tools, especially the ones you need to assemble this fine product. Even with my assembling at a decent speed, it still took me a good hour and a half to assemble this product.The quality of the product is outstanding. Nothing was damaged upon arrival. It was well packaged with cardboard and styrofoam. Of course, the package weighs quite a bit so be prepared.I purchased this product a year ago. I wanted to be able to give a proper review of the product but I didn't plan to wait this long. After a lot of partying, moving, abuse by kids, and accidental spills the stand is still in excellent shape. It has no blemishes and has stood up extraordinarily well. The reason it takes a while to assemble is because they put a lot of thought into how to make a modular product like this as sturdy as possible. They did an excellent job with it. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a lower end cost for the quality of a higher end product.

This fit perfectly in my very tiny room and holds a 65” tv fine. It took me and a friend about 2.5 hours to put it all together. You need your own tools and I recommend a power drill! I also recommend when you take all the pieces out to organize them by number so it’s easier to put together. The instructions were great to follow. So far it’s held up great. It’s a good height for my very low bed frame. The drawers are really nice.Warning: it is VERY HEAVY! when it arrives in the box. Definitely takes two strong people to carry inside.

This stand is for a 70" TV. All of the parts are clearly labeled, and the instruction manual was very well written in correct English. I did need clarification with one of the steps, and I received a very fast reply from Tom Duff who answered my question and invited me to contact him if I need additional help. Ameriwood is a very good company with beautiful products at extremely reasonable prices. Their tech support is outstanding.

Once assembled, it looks great. When it arrived, the box looked banged up. I was concerned there would be damage to the TV stand. There was minor corner damage to two pieces, fortunately, in a conspicuous location, and mild scuffs and scratches. Fortunately, wood polish countered the blemishes. Assembly was easy per instructions. The drawer on the right side does not pull out particularly smooth, but it still works well enough. I am happy to have ordered this stand.

Pros: arrived much quicker than expected.Color as described.Good sized drawers.Good spaces for components.Con: it is NOT 70" long. Disappointed.

The product is strong, sturdy and looks great for the price point. But the instructions to installation were poor. We faced the following issues:a) Insructions related to the metal slides for the drawers are not clear, we had to re-do step no. 2, 4 and 6 all over again after realizing the drawers did not fit well into the slots at step 8. It was a lot of rework efforts especially considering that there are just 10 steps and you have to re work on 4 steps by the time you reach step no 8 .b) The large wooden dowel broke of while fixing the three main panels at step no 3. Although these wooden dowels only provide extra support we very a bit panicky initially.c) The holes that are drilled aren't quite deep and some are not wide enough. We couldn't manage to do it manually at all, but even after using an automatic screwdriver, some screws could not manage to go the entire distance, causing an uneven finish even after repeated attempts of screwing and unscrewing screws.d) The right drawer does not easily slide in and out as the metal slide has a slight bend and one screw hasn't fully managed to push through the wooden board.I would definitely ask the manufacturers to consider doing an assembly video/guide where they work on the clarity of instructions as most customers have the same issue with assembly. An automatic screwdriver and lots of patience is definitely essential if you want to go through self assembly cause you don't want to have scratches or broken chips in a black laminated TV stand while assembling. We took a lot of breaks to ensure we had the patience as its difficult to return a large piece of furniture like this one. Hence I cannot comment on the assembly time.Read more

Le doy 3 estrellas por el tipo de material que es madera compresada si fuera madera le doy las 5, llegó antes de tiempo, en buenas condiciones, todo las piezas completas y no dañadas, las instrucciones un poco complicadas de seguir nos tardó como 3 horas para no dañar las piezas.. El estilo me gusta, justo lo que buscaba en estilo y para el precio el material no me impresionó, pensé que iba a hacer mejor..
